How the countdown works
The “days until” figure is the number of whole calendar days from today to your target date. Below it, a live timer counts the remaining hours, minutes and seconds until midnight at the start of the target day, using your device’s own clock and time zone. Because the day count is based on the calendar, it stays accurate across month boundaries and leap years.
